Kabel.box is the web UI that allows you to change WiFi password, Network Name, and default Vodafone Kabelrouter settings at http://kabel.box or 192.168.0.1.

How to login to Vodafone Kabelrouter?

  1. Open a browser and type http://kabel.box or 192.168.0.1 in the address bar.
  2. Enter the Username: admin and Password: password and click Login.
  3. You will be logged in to the Vodafone Kabelrouter settings.

Note: The Default Password is printed on the sticker on the back of your Vodafone station.

How to change Wi-Fi Password and Network Name (SSID)?

Select your device:

Vodafone Station

  1. Log in to the router settings.
  2. Select WLAN > Allgemein.
  3. Enter the Wi-Fi Network Name in the WLAN Name (SSID) field.
  4. Enter the Wi-Fi Password in the WLAN Kennwort field.
  5. Click Anwenden.

  1. Log in to the router settings.
  2. From the top-right side, select WLAN > Allgemein.
  3. Enter the Wi-Fi Network Name in the Netzwerkname (SSID) field.
  4. Enter the Wi-Fi Password in the WLAN-Schlüssel field.
  5. Click Übernehmen.

  1. Log in to the router settings.
  2. From the top-right side, select WLAN > Allgemein.
  3. Enter the Wi-Fi Network Name in the Netzwerkname (SSID) field.
  4. Enter the Wi-Fi Password in the WLAN-Schlüssel field.

  2. Select Gateway > Wireless > Allgemein.
  3. Enter the Wi–Fi Network Name in the Netzwerknamen (SSID) field and click Übernehmen.
  4. Select Gateway > Wireless > Sicherheit.
  5. Enter the Wi-Fi Password in the Pre-Shared-Key field and click Übernehmen.

  2. Select Gateway > Drahtlos > Primäres Netzwerk.
  3. Enter the Wi-Fi Network Name in the Netzwerk-Namen (SSID) field.
  4. Enter the Wi-Fi Password in the WPA Pre-Shared Schlüssel field.
  5. Click Übernehmen or Anwenden.
