Telcel Modem Login

Telcel web-based user interface allows you to change Wi-Fi password, Network Name (SSID), and default modem settings at http://192.168.8.1.

How to login to Telcel modem?

  1. Open a browser and type http://192.168.8.1 in the address bar.
  2. Enter the Username and Password and click Login.
  3. You will be logged in to the Telcel modem settings.

Note: The Username and Password are printed on a sticker on the back of the modem.

How to change Wavlink Wi-Fi Password and Network Name?

Select your modem:

Huawei B311-221

  1. Open a browser and type http://192.168.8.1 in the address bar.
  2. Enter the Password and click Iniciar Sesión.
  3. Select Ajustes de Wi-Fi > Ajustes básicos de Wi-Fi.
  4. Enter the Wi-Fi Network Name in the Nombre de la red Wi-Fi (SSID) field.
  5. Enter the Wi-Fi Password in the Contraseña de Wi-Fi field.
  6. Click Guardar.

ZTE MF283U

  1. Open a browser and type http://192.168.8.1 in the address bar.
  2. Enter the Password and click Ingresar.
  3. Select Wi-Fi Ajustes.
  4. Enter the Wi-Fi Network Name in the Nombre de la Red (SSID) field.
  5. Enter the Wi-Fi Password in the Contraseña field.
  6. Click Aplicar.

  3. Select Inalámbrico > Ajustes WLAN.
  4. Enter the Wi-Fi Network Name in the Nombre de Wifi(SSID) field.
  5. Enter the Wi-Fi Password in the Contraseña field.
  6. Click Aplicar.
